I’m Mazyar Jalaleddin, a film composer, conductor, orchestrator, music editor, music producer, and Pianist based in London.
My music spans various styles, from electronic and electro-acoustic to classical; from feature films and shorts to advertisements.

I was born on August 19, 1984, in Tehran, Iran. My father, Manoochehr, possessed an extensive collection of classical films and music albums spanning various genres, which sparked my profound interest in film scoring. I began studying piano at the age of 9 and after 11 years of great endeavours, achieved remarkable success and earned First Place in two categories: piano performance and composition at "The 4th Student Music Festival" In 2007. My interest in film scoring led me to write music for short films, animations, and advertisements.

I furthered my education by earning a master's degree in classical composition at The Art University of Tehran, graduating with distinction. A concert piece I wrote "Concerto for Vibraphone, Piano, and Percussions" secured first Place at the "SABA Music Festival" in 2017.

I have served as a jury member at various music festivals and participated in The Film Scoring Program held by The Film Scoring Academy of Europe, under the supervision of Christopher Young in 2019. I also pursued advanced academic endeavours at the university level and successfully completed my second master's degree in film scoring at the National Film and Television School (NFTS), in 2022.
